Logan Ashworth is a 2014 RHP/3B/OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Port Neches, TX who attends Port Neches-Groves HS. Has a large projectable frame with a solid build. Throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action, has good tempo on the mound, works quick. Fields his position well, changeup has arm side run to it, fastball has arm side run, curveball has 11-5 break to it, has good control of his pitches, mixes his pitches well, keeps hitters off balance, repeats his delivery. Is an Alabama commit.

Logan Ashworth is a 2014 RHP/OF/3B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Port Neches, TX who attends Port Neches HS. Lean athletic build, some present strength. Multi-piece effort delivery, fast pace, lots going on, high 3/4's to over the top release point, picks up plate late, arm late coming through. Fastball topped at 86 mph, mostly straight, curveball flashed good spin and downer depth at times, has the arm strength but delivery needs to be simpler and slower. 7.24 runner, shows his arm strength in the outfield, good hands, accurate on line throws. Right handed hitter, throws front side open early, long pull and lift swing, hits the ball in the air, some developing bat speed.

Logan Ashworth is a 2014 RHP/3B/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Port Neches, TX who attends Port Neches HS. Long thin build, projectable body. Pitches from high three quarter arm slot. Medium arm action, arm works well, quick loose arm. Pitches downhill, good command, can elevate fastball, prefers to work outside corner. Good bite on hard breaking ball, up to 77 with depth. Solid changeup, throws it for strikes, has fading action. Curveball is an out pitch at this level, good pitchability, knows what he's doing on the mound, carries himself well. Also showed some ability with the bat. Good young pitching prospect to follow.
