Billy Goldman is a 2007 OF/LHP from Penn Charter HS in Penn Valley, PA with a 6'0", 170 lb. frame. He has a lean athletic build with room to fill out. Billy has all the making of a finesse LHP with good command and knowledge of pitching. He has a good curveball which he used to get ahead of hitters. Mechanically Billy was strong and he also fielded his position well on the mound. At the plate Billy hits from a squat stance with good use of his hands. He drives the ball to all different fields at the plate. Defensively, Billy moves well in the outfield and is good to the ball with a solid arm. Billy is a solid student and should attract many mid-level colleges looking for a quality left-handed pitcher.

Billy Goldman is a 2007 LHP from Penn Valley, Pennsylvania, with a 6'0", 160 lb. frame. He has a loose arm from a high 3/4 arm slot with good balance. Goldman has a fast arm with an easy delivery and a poised demeanor. His fastball topped out at 81 mph, and he threw a tight, 12 to 6 curveball with good depth and sharpness. Goldman also throws a change up with arm side movement at 71 mph. He hits from an open stance with good balance and a slight upper cut swing. Goldman has solid bat speed, and uses the whole field. He has a slap style approach with a controlled presence at the plate. Goldman also has solid actions defensively. Goldman has a high ceiling with the potential to throw in the upper 80s in the future. A must follow.
