Monjo is a good looking athlete at 6-2, 185 lbs. He throws from a sidearm release point with a short, compact arm stroke. Monjo’s fastball was in the 74-76 mph range and he also mixed in a 61 mph curveball and a 67 mph change up. He also showed good bat speed and power potential at the plate from the left side. He needs to add some velocity and if he does he will be real tough from the arm slot he uses. We liked his potential as a hitter.
