Brandon Abdul is a 2014 LHP/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Matawan, NJ who attends Old Bridge High School. He has large frame and lean athletic build with room to add strength. On the mound, he has an long arm action with looseness and good extension out front. He stays tall on his backside and has a deceptive delivery while throwing downhill. He is a strike thrower that has life in his arm and has arm side arm on fastball. His change-up is his out pitch and arm action is solid. Can throws strikes to both sides of plate. In the outfield, he has a long arm action with solid arm strength and carry. At the plate, from the left side he keeps his hands back and will go the other way. From the right side, he is rotational with good extension. Good student.
