Cobie Vance is a 2015 2B/OF, SS with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Fayetteville, NC who attends Pine Forest. Compact athletic build. Smooth hands, quick defensive actions in the MIF, short arm action, good athleticism, moves well, can flat out pick it in the field, needs to increase arm strength over the next few years and add a step or two to his range for the next level. Big leg kick, quick hands, direct swing path, late start at times due to moving parts in swing, drives the gaps well. Will improve contact rate as he increases his body control and cuts down on the moving parts in his swing, projectable bat speed, surprising strength and bat speed for size. Projectable young prospect to follow. Good student.
