Carter Hogan is a 2015 RHP/3B with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Commerce City, CO who attends Prairie View HS. Lean and wiry build, lots of room to add strength. Slow paced delivery, over the top arm slot, long extended arm action, works downhill well over stiff front leg, limited lower body use in delivery. Mid-70's fastball, topped at 77 mph, mostly straight, more velocity in their with delivery adjustments. Did not show his off speed pitches but has thrown a mid-60's curve and change up at tournaments in the past. Right handed hitter, big shift into contact from a tall, narrow stance, has some strength in his swing but needs to get the barrel into the zone sooner. Good student.
