Andrew Cartaginese is a 2012 RHP/2B with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Woodbridge, ON who attends De La Salle College Oaklands. Medium build athlete with lots of room to fill out. Overhead wind on the mound, throws from 3/4 slot. Strike thrower who pounds the zone with three pitcher. Fastball sat low 70s, topping at 75. Curveball at 63 had 11/5 break. Changeup is delivery third pitch. Threw off-speed for strikes early in the count. Fields high on the infield with solid hands. Projects well to 2B. Wide base at the plate with a deep load. Line drive swing with extension. Lots of opposite field contact. Good student.
