Stephen Morrison is a 2013 RHP/2B, OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Shreveport, LA who attends Calvary Baptist Academy. Wiry, projectable build, very thin, long limbs, lots of room to add strength. Ran a 7.46 60 yard. Pitches from an over the top arm slot, high leg kick, tendency to drift out of his balance point, inconsistent release, crossfire delivery at times, arm action works clean and easy. Spots his fastball well at 77-82 mph, good life down in the strike zone, shows occasional sinking action. Flashes swing and miss curveball at 70 mph, locates it well, late sweeping action. Repeats his delivery well and has a nice feel for pitching. Excellent student.
