Chase Plebani is a 2013 RHP with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Washington, DC who attends Sidwell Friends HS. Solid athletic build, good present strength. Hand drop delivery, pause at the top to let arm catch up, long full arm action, high 3/4's arm slot, complicated timing mechanisms in delivery cause inconsistency. Steady mid 80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph, ball comes out of his hand easy, occasional hard arm side sink and run, good downhill angle. Slurve type breaking ball, gets good spin and depth to glove side, tends to back up arm side, rare change up still developing. Has very good arm and the ability to spin the ball, must simplify delivery and develop more consistency to take the next step. Outstanding student.
