Cody Richey is a 2013 RHP/SS/OF with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Comfort, TX who attends Comfort HS. Strong physical build, especially in the lower half. Slow paced side step delivery, accelerates to the plate, over the top release with some lean off on release, lands very open with front side, throws downhill. Low 80's fastball, topped out at 84 mph, cuts both fastball and change up due to open/lean on release, nice change up and should throw more, downer curveball with some depth at times, repeats delivery well and throws strikes. Right handed hitter, long extended swing, swings hard, uppercut swing plane, muscles up, power approach, 7.21. Good student.
