Anthony Obeid is a 2014 LHP with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends Fort Bend Christian Academy. Smaller frame with some lower half strength. Well paced delivery with upright finish, medium length arm stroke with 3/4's slot, hides the ball well in delivery, stays on line towards the plate. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, occasional arm side running action, soft curveball with 1/7 shape, tends to pitch backwards and feature curveball early in the count, needs to improve command of curveball and consistency of release. Very good student.
