Matt Phillips is a 2013 RHP with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Milton, GA who attends Milton HS. Slender live bodied build, projects well. Full hands over head delivery, fast compact arm action, hides ball well. Upper 80's fastball, topped at 89 mph, have seen 91 mph earlier this summer, hard running action, plus life at times. Gets same type of plus life on change up, good depth to slow curveball. Works quickly, too quickly at times. Combination of projected velocity and fastball life noteworthy. Good student.
