2011 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
Jason Hendy is a 2012 SS/3B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from East Sandwich, MA who attends Sandwich. Strong, athletic build with length and room to fill. Does a good job of surrounding ball on the infield. Sold footwork with good hands with quickness in them. Transfer and release are clean and arm plays at both SS and 3B. Right handed bat with a quiet approach and good load. Made hard barrel contact and showed bat speed. Looks to pull and makes contact with the ball out front. Drives ball to all fields with good sound and exit. Present pop with more power to come. Excellent student.
