Spencer Atwood is a 2005 middle infielder from Libertyville, Iowa, with a 6'0", 180 pound frame. He showed average defensive actions with some arm strength. At the plate, Atwood showed above average bat speed from an upright stance. The ball jumps off his bat, and he showed good extension on his follow with high hands. Atwood has the ability to use the whole field, and can make the adjustments with his hands that will enable him to hit at the next level. Atwood is a solid follow that should continue to improve. Spencer is a very good student.
