Brett Garwood is a 2013 C/3B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Dexter, MI who attends Dexter HS. Thick compact frame. Tall narrow receiver, frames well on glove side, sound receiver. Late feet when blocking due to tall setup, good glove, squeezes it well. Medium arm action, long extension out front, high 3/4 arm slot, arm has some projection. Line drive swing plane, hig hand set, direct hand path efficient swing mechanics. Hits from an open stance, aggressive swing, takes a big hack. Looks to pull, ball jumps when he squares up, flashes good bat speed, contact rate will improve with less effort to swing and better balance. Very good student.
