Peter Zyla is a 2014 2B/C/RHP with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA who attends St Pius X Catholic High School. He has a medium frame, lean athletic build with room to add strength. Behind the plate, popped a 1.86, he throws from a lower slot, good arm strength, quick smooth transfer and release, solid skills, very raw. At the plate, he hits from a square stance and displayed a confident approach, good balance, aggressive swings, line drive swing plane, short strong swing, fast twitch, quickness in bat. He also showed the ability to hit to all fields making consistent contact. On the mound, he pitches from a 3/4 arm slot, short arm action, works quickly, and repeats delivery. Good Student.

Left handed hitter, busy load, quick hands, good bat speed, looking to pull, hard game contact, squares it up, showed his power, has next level hitting tools. Third base/second base actions defensively, 7.23 runner, has some lateral range, compact arm action with quick release, more value at second base. Also pitched, compact arm action, 3/4's slot, some effort, fastball to 82 mph, slider gets some deep sweeping life, has potential with better command. Solid all around talent. Good student.
