Branson Woodward is a 2015 1B/3B/RHP with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Benton, LA who attends Benton HS. Projectable frame with a solid build. Starts with a wide base line drive swing plane, shows bat speed, gets extended at the plate, has pop in his bat with a good swing. Has gap power with good weight shift at the plate makes solid contact at the plate, has the ability to square the ball up. In the field his throws are online, good wing span at first base and picks the ball well. On the mound he has an over the top release point and is aggressive with his fastball. Is an excellent student.
