Michael Byrne is a 2015 RHP/3B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Olympia HS. Tall broad shouldered build, lots of room to fill out and get stronger. Long arm action with some hook in back, high 3/4's arm slot, tends to fall off to first base on release. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 86 mph, have seen up to 89 mph this summer, gets good cutting action at times due to delivery. Consistent curveball with some 11/5 depth at times, developing change up. Around the zone with all pitches and competes well. Good student, verbal commitment to Florida.
