Alex Sova is a 2014 RHP/1B with a 6-5 180 lb. frame from Midland, MI who attends H.H. Dow. Very tall and lanky, long limbs, wiry build, projectable body. Pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot, long arm action. Still growing into body, coordination is a step behind other physical tools. Good arm speed for age, projectable velocity, could make a big jump over the next few years with combination of physical maturity and mechanical refinement. Curveball has good shape and flashed quality spin, changeup has good sink and fade to arm side. Showed some ability at the plate as well but future appears to be brightest on the mound.
