Jacob Cryts is a 2012 RHP/OF with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Schuylkill Haven, PA who attends Blue Mountain HS. Well proportioned athletic build, solid present strength. Full delivery, deep arm circle, high 3/4's release point, repeats well. Mid 80's fastball, touched 87 mph, mostly straight but locates well to both sides of the plate. Low 70's curveball with good depth, flashed sharp biting action, solid pitch. Didn't throw change up but needs one. Competes well and challenges hitters. Showed hitting tools at the plate, open/pull approach, short quick swing, solid barrel, drove the ball well. Good student.
