Isiah Gilliam is a 2015 1B/3B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Lilburn, GA who attends Covenant Christian Academy. Big strong athletic build for his age, frame to get stronger. Switch hitter, has ability from both sides. Shorter swing with better drive through contact right handed, quick hands stays short well, has bat speed. Marginally less bat speed left handed, still quick, good swing path with looseness out front, squares up from both sides. Athletic enough for third base if he maintains/quickens feet for range, has soft hands and good athletic balance, plenty of arm strength. Lots of potential for further development. Good student. Named to the Top Prospect Team.
