Colten Griffis is a 2012 OF/RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Starke, FL who attends Keystone Heights. Long, athletic build with projection. Very good runner. Covers ground in center field, can run. Short arm action, ball comes out clean with very good strength and accuracy. Wide base at the plate, aggressive rotational swing with a line drive approach. Looks to pull the ball, solid swing plane. Projects for more pop with additional strength. Showed same clean arm action on the mound with consistent velocity and developing feel for a curveball/ Good student.
