Patrick Cromwell is a 2014 SS/3B with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Costa Mesa, CA who attends Calvary Chapel HS. Tall slender athletic build with room to fill. High back elbow, loose swing, uses opposite field well, very conscious of keeping his hands inside the ball, good extension through contact, smooth load. Lacks balance, ball carries well off bat when squared, show potential power, uses all fields, still developing his swing, chance to take off as he matures. Long arm action defensively, loose actions, soft hands, charges the ball well at times, good in-game defensive decisions, solid body control while on the move. Good student.
