Jimmy Herron is a 2015 OF/LHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Harleysville, PA who attends La Salle. Athletic player with projectable frame and lots of room to fill. Very good athlete who ran 6.83 sixty yard dash. Shows athleticism while fielding in outfield. Good footwork, works thru ball, smooth fielding actions, online throws with carry, solid present arm strength with more to come. Right handed hitter, quick bat, short to ball with line drive swing plane. Quickness in bat, line drives to the middle of the field. Consistent line drives, Left-handed pitcher with loose arm action and long, extended release. Quick worker with smooth delivery. Can spot ball, some life on fastball. Good changeup with sink and curveball with 1/7 break. Very good student.
