Houston is a big and strong 6-4, 215 right handed hitting first baseman from Florida. He ran the 60 in 7.89 and threw 74 across the infield in drills. Houston has a limited trigger and load and a rotational type swing. He uses his strong hands well at the plate and showed that he could make swing adjustments to different types of pitches and make solid contact. Houston’s power will be unlocked when he learns to get his lower half involved use all his strength generate bat speed. Houston is a good student as well.
