Paul O'Connor is a 2013 3B/RHP, 2B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from El Cajon, CA who attends Monte Vista. As a young 2-way prospect there is a lot to like about O'Connor's upside. At the plate he showed a quick bat and his arm speed impressed at 3B and on the mound. Showed a good approach at the plate with a good line drive swing and good use of the lower half. Moved well in the infield with some range at 3B and the arm was an asset, could become a very good defender in the near future. On the mound used a low 3/4 arm slot to create deception and good tailing action on his Fastball. Interesting follow. Named to Top Prospect Team.
