Chris Tinsman is a 2014 C/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Cape Elizabeth, ME who attends Cape Elizabeth HS. Lean and strong athletic build, room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, aggressive approach, simple repeatable swing mechanics, stays short to the ball for his size, solid line drive contact, gets to his front side and through contact well, shows bat speed with more to come, will continue to improve. Young catching skills, long arm action with low elbow release, developing arm strength, still learning footwork, 2.09 best pop time. Has chance to be very good hitter, defense will improve with experience/repetitions. Very good student. Named to the Top Prospect Team.

Tinsman has an athletic build, nice simple swing, short to ball, makes solid middle of the field contact, quick hands, bat projects well with continued added strength, young and catching skills still developing, but will continue to improve as he adds strength.
