Austin Zwart is a 2014 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-1 215 lb. frame from Cottonwood, AZ who attends Mingus Union HS. Big strong build, change to firm up and be really strong. Simple rotational right handed swing, limited shift/stride, strength approach, has some bat speed, upper cut swing place, swings hard and creates bat speed, ball comes off the barrel well, looks to pull the ball. First base tools defensively, good balance and soft hands, accurate throws with some arm strength, will need to work on improving foot quickness and range. Also pitched, compact arm action, slow paced delivery, tight high 3/4's slot, upper 70's fastball, big breaking 11/5 curveball. Good student.

Austin Zwart is a 2014 1B/RHP with a 5-10 189 lb. frame from Cottonwood, AZ who attends Mingus Union HS. Thick build, potential to get stronger. Right handed hitter, spread no stride approach, long rotational swing, looking to pull and lift, some uppercut in his swing plate, has some leverage inside but will hit around balls on the outer half. Good footwork around first base, accurate throws, some developing arm strength, 7.78 runner. Also pitched, works from the stretch, 3/4's arm slot, fastball to 77 mph, have seen 80 mph earlier this fall, curveball flashes some depth, arm works well. Best future potential might be on the mound. Very good student.

Austin Zwart is a 2014 1B/RHP, C, 3B with a 5-9 189 lb. frame from Cottonwood, AZ who attends Mingus. Very young player with strong offensive ability. Showed good strength in his swing for a 2014 grad, line drive plane with solid contact out front. Bat speed is good for age and projects to increase with maturity, showed pull tendency during Batting Practice but was able to hit to opposite field during games. Interesting hitting prospect. Excellent student.
