Lance Thonvold is a 2011 RHP/1B with a 6-4 235 lb. frame from Eden Prairie, MN who attends Eden Prairie HS. Big well proportioned build, plus present strength. Slow paced leg raise delivery, compact arm action, quick arm coming through, 3/4's release point. Steady mid 80's fastball, hit 86 mph frequently, some run/sink arm side. Curveball shows hard spin at higher velocities, tends to aim it at times, some feel for change up. Arm works very well, should add more velocity. Good student, signed with Minnesota.
