Walsh is a 6-0 junior middle infielder from Massachusetts with a slender athletic build. He hits out of a balanced stance with a no load approach that doesn’t incorporate much lower body in his swing. Walsh made very consistent contact in games and BP. He will get stronger and generate more wood bat speed as he matures. Defensively, Walsh showed very good hands and playable arm strength. He should work on his foot quickness to play middle infield at the next level. Walsh is a good student.
