Ryan Voitik: Voitik is a young 2006 pitcher from Illinois who threw three innings in Fort Myers. Voitik’s fastball was in the 78-81 mph range and he used this pitch to set up his change up, which was his most effective pitch at 68-71 mph with good sinking action and arm speed. Voitik also threw an upper 60’s curveball. He will get bigger and stronger so he projects nicely. He can fill the strike zone and looks comfortable on the mound. The low 80s should become mid 80s real soon. He also showed some hitting ability. Ryan is a good student.
