Scott Zerda is a 2011 OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Renton, WA who attends Liberty HS. Lean and slender athletic build. 7.27 runner, aggressive to the ball in the OF, over the top release point, some carry on throws. Right handed hitter, hand drop load, hands tight, inside out approach, shows some looseness/extension out front, flashes bat speed, needs to learn to turn on inside pitch, can generate lift to RCF right now. Can improve with hitting adjustments and added strength. Good student.
