Justin Schander is a 2013 RHP/OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Gilbert, AZ who attends Perry HS. Solid athletic build, good present strength. Multi-piece delivery, full arm circle in back, extended 3/4's release, hides ball well with some deception. Consistent upper 70's fastball, topped at 80 mph, nice fastball sink and running life when down, has some feel for his change up, slow curveball with occasional 11/5 depth, has an idea how to pitch and hit spots. Left handed hitter, shows strength at the plate, open stance, pull hitter, line drive swing plane, gets separation. Good student.

Simple leg raise delivery, good balance, loose well paced actions, extended whippy mid 3/4's arm slot, shows ball to hitters. Upper 70's fastball, touched 80 mph, maintains velo well, FB straight for release point, big sweeping curveball, will need to develop more slant, some feel for change up. Projects to throw harder. Left handed hitter, big stride, uses hands well, pull approach, ball comes off barrel well, good extension, has some hitting tools to develop with more strength.
