Colby Bragdon is a 2012 RHP/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Urbandale, IA who attends Urbandale HS. Tall athletic build, some present strength. Full wind up, hand drop start, stays on line, minimal effort release, compact arm in back, 3/4's slot. Consistent low 80's fastball, topped at 82 mph, mostly straight. Curveball best pitch, good depth and 11/5 shape, some sink on 73 mph change up, throws strikes and mixes it up. Tall stance hitting, tension free swing, upper cut swing plane with high finish. Good student.

Colby Bragdon is a 2012 RHP/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Urbandale, IA who attends Urbandale HS. Nice athletic frame, solid present strength. Compact arm action, tight 3/4's release, some wrap in back, good direction to the plate, low effort release. Steady low 80's fastball to 83 mph, mostly straight, keeps fastball down in zone, good overall command. Nice fade on change up, some deception. Inconsistent curveball, wrap effects release, flashes harder curveball spin. Mixes it up and throws strikes, has an idea. Good student.

Low 3/4 arm slot on the mound, long loose arm action, clean, repeats delivery well, good armside run on fastball, good command of all pitches, comes inside well, feel for 11-5 curveball, good change of pace on changeup. Line-drive hitting approach, has strength in swing, easy lift, can stay inside the ball. Solid student.
