Brian Olson is a 2011 C with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Black Diamond, WA who attends Tahoma HS. Solid athletic build. Low flexible set up catching, confident clean actions, good footwork and lower half, very good arm strength, receives the ball cleanly, always balanced, 1.80 best pop, one of the better defensive catcher's in the 2011 class. Right handed hitter, pull back load, long swing with some raw strength, aggressive approach, swings hard, shows some pop and raw bat speed, will need to shorten up but has hitting tools.
