Douglas Franks is a 2012 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-10 156 lb. frame from West Chester, PA who attends Bayard Rustin. Lean athletic build, room to fill out and add strength. 3/4 arm slot on the mound, short loose arm action, low effort, easy delivery, keeps hitters off balance, solid 1-7 curveball, good feel for his changeup, locates all of his pitches well. Drives the ball to all fields at the plate, stays on the ball well, squares up, aggressive hitting approach. Clean actions at first base. Strong student.
