Daniel Overbeek is a 2013 RHP/1B/3B/SS/OF with a 6-1 145 lb. frame from Arlington, VA who attends Yorktown. Lean athletic build, body projects to fill out well. High 3/4 arm slot on the mound, short easy arm action, easy low effort delivery, good armside run and sink on fastball, fills up the strike zone, good late life on 11-5 curveball, efficient with his pitches, gets guys out. Consistent contact at the plate, sound hitting fundamentals, stays on the ball, really battles, hitting tools project more with added strength. Clean infield actions, feet work, accurate. Strong student.
