Cassidy Brown is a 2013 C/3B with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Hudson, OH who attends Walsh Jesuit HS. Strong athletic build, fairly physically mature. Has good flexibility and quickness for size defensively, shifts well, solid arm strength, over the top release point, tends to toss ball from glove to hand on exchange, good game throws, plays hard defensively. Right handed hitter, crouched stance, limited shift, has some strength in his swing, best contact to mid field, flashes pull power, can improve getting bat started but does a good job keeping hands short to the ball. Good student.

His feet are quick and is arm showed very good strength. He starts with straight, upright stance at plate and loads deep. His hands work easily and he showed projectable power as well. He works on a good downhill plane from the mound, has quick tempo in his delivery, and has clean, easy arm action. His fastball gets in on hitters with good arm side run. He has deception, and showed hard slider with tilt. Interesting follow.
