Daniel Patterson is a 2013 RHP/3B, SS with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Young Magnet. Strong, large build, still slender and projectable. Ran a 7.68 60 yard. Pitches from high 3/4 arm slot, long arm action, high leg lift, needs to finish his pitches better. Low effort delivery, lower half could be more involved. Very consistent 80-81 mph fastball, stays true through the zone, commands it well. 68 mph curveball gets over for strikes, 12-6 rotation with early break. Consistently works around the plate. Also hits, right-handed, shows some present strength, short swing, needs to extend better. Solid two-way upside. Good student.

Showed the ability to throw it for strikes as well. Versatile player.
