Ross Grosvenor is a 2013 RHP/1B with a 6-5 240 lb. frame from Franklin, TN who attends Battle Ground Academy. Extra large build, could get really strong with work. Well paced leg raise delivery, leans back and throws, 3/4's arm slot, still working on delivery consistency and balance, arm works loose and free. Low 80's fastball, topped out at 85 mph, mostly straight, occasionally cuts fastball to glove side. Change is best secondary pitch, shows confidence and throws it on the correct counts. Flashed good curveball spin and depth, tends to fall off line on curveball release and will hang it at times. Mixes pitches well and has an idea around the strike zone. Tools and skills to keep improving. Right handed hitter, one-dimensional pull and lift approach, ball jumps well when squared up, has the strength to hit with power. Good student.

Line-drive hitting approach, solid middle of the field contact, has strength in swing, gets extension, improved balance will help hitting ability. Strong arm in the field, good hands. Solid student.
