Thompson is a 5-10, 175 lb. 2006 middle infielder from Littleton, Colorado with a strong athletic build. Thompson has a good build with some more room to fill. Defensively, Thompson got his feet underneath him and made nice accurate throws to first base. Thompson showed good body control on a nice charging play he made in game. At the plate, Thompson swings from the right side and has a nice compact swing. He starts with a narrow base with slightly bent knees and high hands. Thompson has an inside out stroke with some bat speed. Thompson put good swings on the ball in game. Thompson is a very good student.
