Ryan Bridges is a 2007 third baseman/first baseman from Griffith Indiana with a big frame that shows lower half strength at 6'0", 200 pounds. He hits with a simple approach and shows good balance throughout the swing. He has strong hands and generates good bat speed. He makes solid hard contact and has big time power potential. He is a top level hitter who will hit for average while putting up big power numbers. Defensively, he has smooth actions and a good glove. He showed good arm strength at 78 mph across the infield with accurate throws. He is a power hitting corner infielder with good tools and a projectable body. He will be a top level prospect as he matures and add stength to his big frame.

Ryan Bridges -- Bridges is a young, freshman third baseman/RHP from Indiana with broad shoulders and very good strength for his age. He hits from a wide based stance with little load or movement before his swing. When Bridges takes his swing he shows bat speed and power potential. His lack of rhythm or trigger right now puts him late or not swinging on many pitches at this level but he should grow out of this with age and experience. Bridges looks like he’s going to be a very good defensive third baseman. He moves smoothly to the ball with confident actions and shows good arm strength for a freshman. He's real young but with a lot of baseball talent.
