Kenneth Pope is a 2012 RHP/3B with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Lexington, NC who attends North Davidson HS. Slender build. Compact arm action, mid to low 3/4's release point, good use of lower half, throws off firm front side. Fastball to 82 mph with good late sink and occasional run. Curveball gets good 2 plane break from release point, change up moves downward well, all pitches down in the zone, ground ball type pitcher. Solid outfield actions, easy release, field through the ball well. Right handed hitter, straight stance, short contact type swing. Very good student.
