Taylor Sorensen is a 2014 OF/RHP with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Llano, TX who attends Llano HS. Solid athletic build with very good present strength. Switch hitter, swings hard from both sides, quick hands and has some bat speed, line drive plane, keeps hands in, better balance and swing mechanics from the left side. 7.14 runner, moves well in the outfield, some developing arm strength, accurate throws, can improve footwork for immediate improvement in arm. Also pitched, simple leg raise delivery, throws cross body, clean arm circle, extended 3/4's release, tends to fall off on release, needs better front side mechanics. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, primary fastball pitcher, occasional soft curveball. Good student.

Taylor Sorensen is a 2014 1B/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Llano, TX who attends Llano HS. Nice young athletic build, only 15 years old and starting to get strong. Switch hitter, similar swing and approach both sides, has some hand quickness, flashes of bat speed, needs better swing balance, tends to swing down on the ball. 7.34 runner, should get quicker with maturity, would like to see in the outfield, will have the arm strength. Also pitched, grades out higher at present on the mound. Nice balanced on line delivery, works from the stretch, long smooth arm action, low effort release, smooth out front. Fastball to 78 mph with nice sink and downward plane, slow curveball with proper shape and rotation, needs more power to curveball, threw strikes and repeated mechanics well. Good student.
