Dallon Asnes is a 2014 RHP/C with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Tolland, CT who attends Tolland High School. Medium, athletic build with present strength. On the mound, shows athleticism in delivery, loose arm action. Throws from 3/4 slot on downhill plane. Smooth delivery, does a good job staying balanced and online. Fastball lived in low 80s with life. Goes after hitters and pitches inner half effectively. Good feel for curveball, maintains arm speed on changeup. Good present pitchability with more velocity in future. Showed very well behind the plate, quick transfer and release, short arm action, online, pops down to 1.90. Right handed hitter, quick bat, keeps stroke short and on line drive plane. Consistent hard contact with loose wrists and lift in swing. Interesting two-way potential. Excellent student.
