Bobby Tippett is a 2014 C/3B, RHP with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Lakeside. Has a projectable large frame with a solid athletic build. Has a good set up behind the plate with arm strength, his throws are accurate with carry on them. Has lateral mobility on the infield, does a good job of keeping balls in front of him and his throws have online carry across the diamond. Showed good swing mechanics at the plate with a short quick swing, makes solid contact at the plate with a middle of the field approach. He has pitching mechanics with an online delivery and throws easy from a high 3/4 arm slot. He has a good follow through with good hip rotation and mixes in a 12-6 curveball. Is an excellent student.
