2004 Underclass National Showcase
Richard Kenny -- Kenny is a strong, physical 6-3 junior first baseman from Georgia. He hits out of a narrow, tall stance with a short, contact swing that doesn’t take advantage of his natural strength or leverage. Kenny hits the ball hard to the right side and keeps his hands inside the ball well, but you have to believe that there’s a lot more there. He showed us very good hands at first base on defense. With some minor changes this kid could hit with plus power. He has an MLB type body. Richard is an outstanding student.
