Jonathan Harris is a 2012 RHP/SS with a 6-4 160 lb. frame from Florissant, MO who attends Hazelwood Central HS. Tall very slender build, long arms, has deceptive strength. Side step delivery, gets turned well, full arm circle, fast arm coming through, good leverage and downhill angle at release, repeats mechanics better from windup. Upper 80's fastball topped out at 89 mph, mostly straight but lives at the bottom of the zone, spots fastball well and has some deception. Curveball has good power, 11/5 shape with some depth, tends to overthrow CB, best at lower velocities, rare change up but showed quality. Right handed hitter, flashes very good bat speed, consistent hard contact, gets hands through on inside velocity, hard pull contact, leverage at contact, good balance, potential 2-way tools at the college level. Nice all around talent. Good student. Signed with Missouri State.

Jonathan Harris is a 2012 RHP/SS with a 6'2'', 155 lb. frame from Florissant, MO who attends Hazelwood Central HS. Very young look, slender build, good proportions, long limbs. Well paced delivery, good balance, loose actions, arm works very well, plus extension out front, ball comes out very easily, extended 3/4's slot. Consistent 83-84 mph fastball, some late life. Both breaking balls show hard spin, sharp biting action, CB gets nice downer shape, some developing feel for change up. High ceiling potential with more strength, arm is buttery smooth. Shows some athleticism with the bat, some bat speed, solid contact to all fields.
