Reid Mathews is a 2011 MIF/ with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Kingsport, TN who attends Dobyns-Bennett. Had a very impressive showing. Showed excellent hitting tools at the plate. Good bat speed, quick hands with a smooth load, good balance and extension. Sweet swing generates solid power at present with more to come as he matures physically. Showed good range and actions defensively with a quick release and solid arm strength. Very good MIF prospect.
