Chris Casto is a 2010 LHP/1B with a 6'1'', 207 lb. frame from Olive Branch, MS who attends Southern Baptist Education Center HS. Solid athletic build, good lower half. High leg kick, extended deep arm load, drop and drive to plate, hides ball very well, arm is tension free, good overall temp, good body control and repeats well, 3/4's release point. FB to 81 mph, nasty late 2 seam movement at times, sharp CB with some 2 plane downer shape, nice feel for change up. Has some hitting tools, quiet approach in box, good load, strong leveraged left handed swing, ball comes off bat well. Interesting athlete, deception and 3 pitches will get outs at next level.
